The Reggio Emilia Human & Technology Training Center was set up as part of the Unindustria Reggio Emilia Digital District project. It is a large innovative training environment featuring next-gen technology to develop people’s and companies’ digital skills.
HUMAN & TECHNOLOGY TRAINING CENTER
Embodying the strategy of the Unindustria Reggio Emilia Digital District, the Training Center was set up to offer specialist training courses for young people, adults, managers and businesses dedicated to developing digital transformation skills.
CIS, a service company of Unindustria Reggio Emilia, created the project in collaboration with Experis, a company of the Manpower group, involving leading high-tech partners on the international Digital Transformation scene, such as Comau, Microsoft, Siemens and HPE. The project is also supported by BI-Rex, the Emilia-Romagna Competence Center for Industry 4.0, the REI Foundation, Assoknowledge and UniMore.
Located at Via Sicilia 19 in Reggio Emilia, the Human & Technology Training Center is equipped with a high-tech educational laboratory. Specialist training courses take place here to develop digital transformation skills, through experiential teaching using educational robots and articulated arms, 3D printers, reverse engineering 3D scanners, next-gen machine tools, and software stations for developing robotic systems.
